A scenic excursion Saturday with stops for morning & lunch & afternoon tea (bring & share style). Beach bonfire on Saturday evening. An overnight camping stop at geothermal Hot Water Beach. The campsite is located on the southern shores within the shelter of the Arm. There is a DOC campsite there with a composting toilet. You can make your own private hot pool on the beach. Start & finish at Kariri Point (aka Boatshed Bay), Check the Victoria University weather forecast here. Arrive at Hot Water Beach. Setup camp for overnighting. Soak in the hot springs. Enjoy the campfire. Sunday; Pack up camp. Make way to Kariri point. Haul out. Return home Extra Notes; You'll need to bring all your overnight camping gear & food & fuel with you in your boat. There's no road access to the campsite. Atco Boatimpellor 147cc Model Wanted These were an odd looking outboard motor. The odd look comes from having a straight drive, ie, no gearbox. Villiers powered & air cooled by forced draft.
